Hi, my name is Joyce, I am the maternal grandmother (Nanny) to the beautiful little girl you are about to meet. Our lifes changed forever on April 16,2000 when Lauren was killed in a car crash. She was riding with her paternal grandmother and aunt, they both died that day too.
My daughter and I, searching for comfort, spent many hours looking at
memorial sites for others, especially children.
It seemed to ease the pain a little knowing
that there were others who knew and understood our pain and that through the internet we could be united with them.
We never
expect our children to leave this world before
we do and when this happens it leaves a
huge-gaping-black hole,
right in the middle of your heart.
Please stick around and meet Lauren, she was very special, she saw angels, (see page "Lauren's Story") and she is loved and missed more than words can ever say.
Expect to shed a tear or two, that's ok, but please come help us celebrate the 9 years,
4 months and 4 days that Lauren Marie Waller
spent on this earth, all the lives she has
touched and the lives that she continues to
touch through this website and the people who love her!!!
We love you baby :)
God Bless You... Joyce Lauren's Nanny-Forever

This tattoo is on my back between my shoulder blades.
It's 4 inches wide and 3 inches high. The tattoo is
something I've wanted to do since Lauren passed
away. I finally did it on September 18,2004.

Just like a beautiful long stemmed rose,
Her precious memory grows and grows.
Touching the hearts of all of those she loves,
And like the fragrance of that same rose,
Her love so sweet still flows and flows,
Filling our lives with a warmth,
that shows she's there,
So, like a forever-blooming rose,
The beauty she shared eternally glows,
For deep in our hearts,
Each of us knows....
She lives!! (Author Unknown)

The music is "I Believe I Can Fly", from the Space Jam" movie soundtrack.
It was one of Lauren's favorite songs and was played at her funeral.
