My dearest little grandaughter, Lauren Marie...
Nanny misses you so very, very much!! With your birth I experienced the joy of becoming a grandparent for the first time. With your death I experienced the kind of pain and sorrow that is so deep within my heart, down to the core of my very existence, the kind of pain that will never go away.
You left me with many wonderful, happy memories in the short time that you were here on this earth. My Angel, you have touched my life in a way that no other human on earth ever has. When you died I made a promise that it would not be in vain, and it has not. In the last year I have made many changes in my life, all for the better, and all because of you.
So I thank you "Sweet Lauren", for being the YOU that you are, for the special love you have for me, and me for you, for showing me the meaning of love, for being born into this earth so that I could be a part of your 9 years, 4 months, and 4 days here.
I cannot describe in words the sorrow in your passing or the pain in my heart. Mommy and I were looking at some of your papers, you wrote, "I love Jesus, because He made me", that makes me happy to know that!! One day we will meet on that "Beautiful Shore", and walk the "Streets Paved With Gold", together. For now, "Sweet Lauren" wait for me and save my place next to you,my beautiful granddaughter. You were, are now, and always will be, "Nanny's Special Angel".
I Love You, I Love You, I Love You...
Your Nanny Forever
Lauren, I am so sad that you are gone, I miss you more than I can put into words. The love that we shared in your short nine years is so strong that it has made me change my whole life.
I'm working hard to become a better person. One year to the day, April 16th, will be a year since I've had a drink. I owe that all to the love I have for you. I would also like to thank you for showing me the way to Jesus, since the day that I found Him, my life has become so much eaiser. Everytime that I ask Him for help, He is there, and I love you so much for that, and Jesus too!!
Until we meet again, Lauren, I love you so much, "My Little Punkin Head".
Lauren....I never knew someone could change my life for the best and the worst all in one moment, but you have done that to me, and I thank you and God everyday. You were my "special girl", and always will be. I'm waiting for the day we will be together again. I love you and miss you more than I will ever be able to say with words.
Always on my mind...
Always in my heart...
I will see you there...
Never more to part...
I love and miss you...
Dear Gorgeous girl, Dear Lauren Marie,
I know that you're in Heaven now,
You found that safe place anyhow,
But please, save a little room for me,
Whenever I long for your company...
A thousand stars I saw tonight,
But only yours is shining that bright.
I kept on staring, tried to see your face,
And yes, of course, I found your place...
I'm so touched by your honest, shining eyes,
They have the power to make me realize,
What was meant to be, the "Miracle of you",
And you can be happy forever, for it is so true...
You may wish that I would not cry,
The way I did today,
While thinking of so many things,
We didn't have time to say...
I feel that you will care for me,
For that's the strength of you.
And each time that I feel and see,
I'm sure you know it's true...
So when tomorrow starts without you,
I'll try to understand,
That an angel came and called your name,
And took you by the hand...
Another day will start without you,
But I don't feel the burden of being apart.
Cause everytime I whisper your name,
Your memories will fill my heart...
And if the sky will open for me,
When I shall become a twinkling star,
I'm sure you'll come running, for you can see,
That love gives us power, so close now, not far...
